Kill well manifold:
1、 Purpose:
When the wellhead pressure rises, heavy drilling fluid can be pumped into the well through the kill pipe manifold to balance the bottomhole pressure and prevent well surges and blowouts; It can be used to directly release the pressure at the bottom of the well through the connected blowout pipeline; It can also be used to squeeze cement and inject clean water and fire extinguishing agents into the wellhead during cementing operations. Through the single flow valve of the well control manifold, the well control fluid or other fluids can only be injected into the well and cannot flow back to achieve the purpose of well control and other operations. 2、 Structure
It mainly consists of one-way valves, gate valves, pressure gauges, connecting pipelines, etc. It is connected at one end to a four-way preventer and at the other end to an injection pump. The kill manifold and choke manifold are designed and used in accordance with API standards. At present, the pressure levels of the well control manifold produced by our company include 14MPa, 21MPa, 35MPa, 70 MPa, 105MPa, 140MPa, etc.
3、 Usage requirements
(1) The working pressure of all pipelines, gate valves, single flow valves, etc. must match the working pressure of the combination of anti spray devices used;
(2) The well control manifold cannot be used as a pipeline for daily injection of drilling fluid.
